The primary media channels in Iringa are found on radio and television.
Radio stations: Iringa municipality has seven FM radio stations:
- Trap Gang Radio
- Ebony FM
- Country FM
- Nuru FM (youth entertainment and commercial radios)
- Overcomers Radio
- Radio Furaha (Christian stations)
- Kibra Ten Radio (a Muslim station).
Other radio stations exist elsewhere in Iringa region outside of the municipal areas, such as Kituro Community radio in Makete and another FM radio station in Njombe.
Television: Iringa has one TV station called “Municipal Television”. The station is a multi-age TV station a plays a number of diversified programmes.
